Ways To Move On After A Breakup

A break up is a very stressful thing and it affects both physical and mental health. In this article I am going to tell you how to welcome joy back into your life after a break up.

Think About People Who Wish To Be You

When we go outdoors dressed in nice clothes and carrying mobile phones with cool covers we hurt some beggars and street kids. Have you seen how some street children stare at you when you are in your car waiting impatiently for the green signal? There are so many people who would want to be in your position. They are the people who go to bed hungry daily and try to ignore the severe pain of their unattended wounds. Think about the soldiers at war, the children in hospitals, the very few people who are suffering from some rare diseases. There are people in this world who are in worse condition than yours. Understand that. Those people have got nothing to look forward to. They are exploited and they know that they will die young because of overwork.

Think about the things you can do to help them instead of crying over something that you are probably never going to get back. Focus on what you have. Let go what you can't have and start living. The Buddha said it : "In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you."

Do Pranayam And Yoga

Yoga helps a lot. Pranayams like Bhramari, Anulom Vilom and Kapalbhati calm your mind and rids your mind of negative thoughts. Many people who are happily settled in their lives now have told me how pranayams have helped them to think positive. If nothing else in the world can cure your sadness then pranayams can. All you need to do is believe in the power of yoga and do some basic breathing exercises to bring happy thoughts to you.
People who do yoga daily tell me that yoga helps them to see the positive aspects of a situation which they wouldn't see otherwise. Try to exercise for about 5 to 10 minutes daily and that is just enough. Practice Kapalbhati and Bhastrika pranayams after you wake up in the morning to start your day in a healthy way. You will feel the difference within a week. Yoga, if done daily, can cure any kind of illness magically.

Be Happy If Their Smiles Are Brighter Without You

You read that right. When you love someone madly nothing else should matter the most to you than their happiness. You try your best to make them laugh heartily. Yet if you find that they are happy when you are not there, then just give up. Sometimes we must sacrifice our own joys for the ones we love most. The idea is to move on with a smile thinking that your love is happy without you and doesn't need you anymore. This is probably the hardest thing to accept but you must for the sake of your love and also for yourself.
If you can't sacrifice your own happiness for that person then, probably, you haven't ever loved them. Probably it's just an infatuation. You don't have to stop loving them. Just try hard to adjust to a life without them. Moving on is a rule of life. You must let go of things no matter how precious they seem to you and how much you love them. But at the end of the day everything in the world has an expiry date. Nothing is forever. Neither you nor your love. While dealing with the stress of a break up don't forget about the people who have always loved you and supported you -your parents, your relatives, and your friends. Get busy partying with them! Life is short. There's no point in making it complicated and getting trapped in your own web.

 Being Optimistic and Staying Strong

Optimism is one of the most precious things that you can possess. It helps you to be strong no matter how bad or how hard a situation is. At some point of time we all have to go through gut-wrenching experiences like break ups, divorces, or separation. Most people are devastated after a break up. Some even try to commit suicide which is an extremely stupid thing to do. I have even heard of people who become 'mentally' sick and seek medical attention to move on in life. However I know many people who lead a very happy life despite undergoing several hardships and break ups. They have taught me how to push through the pain with a smile.
